How can a zealous, law keeping man be compared to a dysfunctional, addicted, depraved sinner? Romans 2 teaches us that hidden sin, sins no one warned us about--even sins that are legally "right"--are still SIN in the eyes of God. With Him acting as the impartial Judge, no one will get a free pass.
